Adass Israel Synagogue: Torah

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of a new Torah to the Adass Israel Synagogue. The Torah was donated by the Adass community in loving memory of Izzy Herzog, who passed away some 12 months ago. This wonderful tribute will stand as a constant memorial to a devout and loving man who was clearly greatly loved and admired by his family. I would like to put on the record congratulations to the extended Herzog family for this tribute. I acknowledge in particular the work Ruvi Herzog, David Herzog, Abe Weiszberger, Joseph Friedman, Michael Friedman and Benjamin Koppel in providing this wonderful testament to a beloved family figure.
