Anne and Eric Smorgon Memorial Award

On 15 November the Smorgon family contributed to the 2011 Victoria Prize and Victoria Fellowships award event here at Parliament, hosted by the Minister for Innovation, Services and Small Business. This event saw the annual Anne and Eric Smorgon Memorial Award of $100 000 granted to the winner of the Victoria Prize, Professor Andreas Strasser of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. I thank the Smorgon family for their great contribution.
