Recently I attended an RMIT business prize-giving ceremony at Storey Hall. After lecturing for many years in entrepreneurship at this university I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to go back and speak at the ceremony and present these awards. The ceremony, which was hosted by pro-vice-chancellor of business and vice-president, Professor Ian Palmer, recognised both undergraduate and postgraduate students who have excelled in the field of business. Acknowledging entrepreneurial skills is a passion of mine. I am proud to be a member of the Baillieu coalition government, a government which understands the value of enterprise, business and the spirit of having a go. These are the things that these awards represent.
